what a website costs in parma, italy: ranges instead of a price list

business · 2026-10-28 · 4 min

every week someone asks me the same question in the same words: quanto costa un sito web a parma. it is a fair question and the honest answer is a range, because a price without a scope is a number someone made up to end a conversation.

these are the ranges i quote, in parma, italy, in 2026. they are planning ranges from my own quotes, not a market average: i cannot see my competitors' invoices and neither can you.

the four bands

  • one page, one offer — 600 to 1,200 euro. a single page for a professional, a therapist, a consultant, a small workshop. one action, a form, maybe a calendar link.
  • business site, five to eight pages — 1,500 to 3,500 euro. home, services, about, contact, plus the pages the offer actually needs. this is where most local businesses land.
  • e-commerce — 3,000 to 8,000 euro. the platform is the cheap part. product copy, photos, shipping rules, returns, VAT and payment fees are the project.
  • custom web app — from 8,000 euro, and the upper bound is a project plan, not a price. logins, roles, payments, integrations, data you have to keep for years.

what moves the number

four things, in this order: content, decisions, integrations, languages.

content is the one nobody budgets. if you have the text, the photos and the answers ready, a five-page site is a two-to-four week job. if the content has to be written, interviewed out of you and approved by three people, the same site takes two months and the price follows the calendar.

decisions are the second hidden cost. every "we'll decide later" becomes a revision, and revisions are the part of the quote that always runs over.

what the quote should contain

a comparable quote lists pages, who writes the copy, who takes the photos, what happens after launch, who owns domain and accounts, and what maintenance costs per year. if two quotes differ by 2,000 euro and neither lists these, you are not comparing prices. you are comparing two different projects with the same name.

a website is not an expense you close once. the build is year zero; hosting, domain, updates and small changes are the years after. the total is what matters, and the total cost of owning a website is the post i send to people who ask me this on a call.

the local part

parma, italy — not parma, ohio. the search results for this question are full of american agencies, directories and template farms, which is exactly why a local quote is worth asking for in writing, with a name and a place attached to it.

if you want the service side, it is on website design and development in parma, and the step before the quote is how to get a website made in parma.

faq

how much does a website cost in parma in 2026?

between 600 and 1,200 euro for a one-page site, 1,500 to 3,500 for a five-to-eight-page business site, 3,000 to 8,000 for an online store, and from 8,000 for a custom web app. these are my planning ranges, not a market average.

why are quotes for the same website so different?

because they are not for the same website. one includes copywriting and photos, one does not; one includes maintenance, one invoices it later; one is built on a template, one is built from scratch. compare the line items, not the total.

does the price include maintenance?

rarely. ask for the yearly cost separately: domain, hosting, updates, backups and a bucket of small changes. a site with no maintenance budget is a site that starts decaying on day two.
